StartADay is licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

Rather than write our own and ask you to read it, StartADay uses the standard licence Apple applies to apps by default. You can read it in full at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

Subscriptions

StartADay is sold as an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, with a seven day free trial for new subscribers.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
  • You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings, not in the app.
  • If you cancel during a free trial, any unused portion of that trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Prices are set per storefront and shown to you in your own currency before you buy. Refunds are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.

What StartADay is not

StartADay is a habit and intention tool. It is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat, or monitor any condition, including sleep disorders. If you are concerned about your sleep, speak to a doctor rather than to an alarm clock.

The alarm

StartADay uses Apple's AlarmKit so that alarms can sound through Silent mode and Focus. Like any alarm on any phone, it depends on your device being powered on, functioning, and permitted to alert you. Do not rely on it alone where missing a wake-up would be dangerous or costly.

Your content

What you write in StartADay is yours. It stays on your device and we claim no rights over it. See the privacy policy.
